Mike Hannon provides full photographic and video documentation services for the commercial and creative sectors.
A Fine Art graduate of Crawford College of Art and Design, where he specialised in video, Mike has years of experience in creating a variety of film and video work. From inception to delivery, the core values of goal-driven integrity, visual sophistication and parsimony of resources are held highest.
Subsequently, Mike was employed as an architectural photographer for Murray Ó Laoire Architects, Ireland's leading architectural practice, where his skills in composition for photography and video were honed on a number of Ireland's iconic buildings. At the National Sculpture Factory, he developed and produced a number of unique solutions, documenting their programme of visual art.
In 2010, Mike's half hour documentary My Beamish Boy was screened on RTÉ One, to critical and popular acclaim. For his work as an artist, he has been the recipient of numerous awards from the Arts Council, Culture Ireland and Corona Cork Film Festival. His work has been screened and exhibited in Ireland, Europe, the US and China.
